Starting school

A calm introduction helps a child settle. Visit the school together, talk positively about teachers and friends, practise a short goodbye, and label belongings. Let the teacher know about health needs, collection arrangements and any settling-in concerns.

Daily routines

A suitable Early Years day balances a warm welcome, play, stories, language and number activities, creative work, snack or meal breaks, hygiene and outdoor movement. Consistent sleep and preparation at home help children arrive ready to participate.

Play Group: 8 A5 ruled and 2 A5 squared books, 48 pages with ½-inch ruling. PP1 and PP2: 8 A5 ruled and 2 A5 squared books, 96 pages. Each level lists 1 A5 drawing book (48 pages), 2 A4 foolscap pads, 6 HB pencils, 2 erasers and 2 sharpeners, plus colouring pencils, paper, glue, plasticine, portfolio and hygiene supplies.

Learning through CBE

Our programme presentation follows Kenya’s Competency-Based Education approach: developing knowledge, skills, values and the ability to apply learning. Communication, collaboration, problem-solving, creativity, citizenship, digital literacy, self-efficacy and learning to learn run across the learning journey.

Lower Primary builds language, numeracy, environmental awareness, religious education and creative skills. Upper Primary extends English, Kiswahili, Mathematics, Religious Education, Science & Technology, Social Studies, Agriculture & Nutrition and Creative Arts.

Activities & facilities
